In the airline industry, simulations are an effective way for pilots to learn from virtual experiences that would be costly and difficult or dangerous to provide in the real world.
These are now transitioning to the corporate world. Bob Johansen wrote Institute for the Future, where he outlined the business case for learning through business simulations. Adults retain 10% of what they hear in classroom lectures vs. 2/3 when they learn by doing! In our rapidly changing world, prediction and control are nearly impossible; however, preparation is possible.
Participants can:

· Participate in immersion experiences: efficient and effective method of preparation
· Create “a ha” moments
Identifying personalities is a precondition of behavioral change, which is the goal of a leadership program. Companies need to track and measure behavior changes in leadership performance, and a business simulations can include built-in assessment tools to evaluate the participant’s performance, including: decision making, competencies and personality traits.
